Introduction

Level Devil is a punishingly deceptive 2D platformer from Unept, the team behind Unicycle Hero and Lava Bird. The main goal of the game is simple: get to the door at the end of each level.

Sounds simple?

Shock on you! The game is anything but a walkover.

You must navigate your way through nearly 200 levels of traps that will cause you nightmares, including disappearing floors, falling ceilings, teleporting walls, and holes that will emerge from nowhere. Each level is designed to test your reflexes, memory, and patience.

Level Devil includes:

  • A single-player mode

  • A local 2-player mode

When playing the multiplayer option, the game is chaotic and allows you to sabotage one another. It can be found on PC, mobile, or browser.

Controls

There are relatively few buttons to control, but controls require accuracy:

  • Arrow keys or WASD: Move left, right, up and down

  • Spacebar: Jump

Tips to Play Level Devil Like a Pro

  • Expect to Be Surprised. Types of traps, such as spikes, ceilings that come down on you, or floors that disappear, can pop out of nowhere.

  • Learn Trap Patterns. Each time you die, keep the dangers in mind and avoid them henceforth.

  • Be Cautious. Take your time. If you rush, you will die fast.

  • Look for Indicators. If you see odd tiles or cracks in the ceiling, it usually indicates a trap is coming.

  • Calm Down and Try Again. It’s frustrating, but frustration can be part of the fun. Don't forget to try again.

  • Practice Your Timing. Make sure you are jumping and moving at the right time to avoid getting hit by surprise traps.
